Recipe: Best Grape Salad

18 Nov

My friend Amanda put me onto this delicious dessert. I made it for our Thanksgiving luncheon at work & loved it so much that I had to share it with you. NOTE: grapes are expensive this time of the year. But if you can find some ripe ones, you won’t be sorry 😉

  • 2 lbs green seedless grapes
  • 2 lbs red seedless grapes
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, to taste

Topping Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed, to taste
  • 1 cup crushed pecans, to taste

  1. Wash & stem grapes.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Mix sour cream, cream cheese, white sugar & vanilla by hand until blended.
  4. Stir grapes into mixture & pour in large serving bowl.
  5. For topping: Combine brown sugar & crushed pecans.
  6. Sprinkle over top of grapes to cover completely.
  7. Chill overnight.
Serves about 16 people

Great blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?
A theme like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my blog shine. Please let me know where you got your design.
