Weekend shenanigans & FOTD: Sunday’s Best

14 Nov

Hey Glams! How was your weekend? Mine was awesome! ( I caught up on my sleep & my DVR, snagged a few new beauty products, washed & DC’ed my wig & listened to countless hours of Pandora. If you don’t have Pandora in your life, you don’t know what you’re missing. I was bumping the Ryan Leslie channel so hard that my neighbors know all the words to Guardian Angel, LOL! I couldn’t bear to watch my beloved alma mater get massacred by the Bulldogs, so don’t even ask me about that game 😥 Did you see the Michigan State/ UNC Tar Heels game on the USS Carl Vinson? A basketball game on an aircraft carrier! It doesn’t get any cooler than that!

And because I know you’re dying to hear some Ryan Leslie…

Shout out to Stacy & Terrell, who rescued me from solitary confinement by inviting me to church & Sunday dinner. *TEAR* Onto the makeup…

PRIMER: NYX HD e/s base

BASE: NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk

SHADOW: I covered the inner third of my eyelid, including the tearduct area, in frosty, pistachio green e/s from the Wet N Wild Snow Sprite palette. Then I applied frosty, shamrock green (from the Wet N Wild Pride palette) to the center of my lower lid. Next I used cerulean blue e/s in satin finish to define my crease & outer v (from the Black Radiance Retro Chic palette). I also used a bit of the shimmery navy blue (Pride palette) to darken the outer v & matte camel e/s from the Wet N Wild Vanity palette to highlight my brow bone.

Click the pictures below for a closer look at the shadows used:

OTHER DETAILS… I used CoverGirl single e/s in Smolder to define my eyebrows & Maybelline Falsies mascara in blackest black on my eyelashes. I defined my upper lashline & waterline using Wet N Wild cream liner in black. I also applied Wet N Wild eyeliner pencil in white to my lower lashline & applied the same greens & blues (from my eyelid) to my under eye.

FACE: Estee Lauder pressed powder in Deep (05)

CHEEKS: Black Radiance sheer finish blush in Soft Honey

LIPS: Carmex + L’Oreal H.I.P. lip gloss in Inviting
