I used the Black Radiance Retro Chic eyeshadow palette to create this look. I bought it for about $5 at my local CVS. My thoughts?! This palette has a great combination of blues, but the color payoff leaves something to be desired. To counteract this problem, be sure to use a blue or white opaque base underneath these shadows. Overall I am pleased with the performance of this palette. Although I don’t use it often (blame that on Shany Cosmetics) I would buy it again & recommend it to anyone looking for bright blue eyeshadow.
PRIMER: NYX HD e/s base
BASE: NYX Jumbo eye pencil in Milk
SHADOW: I covered the inner two-thirds of my lower eyelid in shimmery aqua blue e/s (Retro Chic palette), then I used a slightly darker blue (also Retro Chic) on the outer third of my eyelid & matte black e/s (from the Wet N Wild Greed palette) to darken my outer v. I used matte pastel blue to highlight my tearducts & matte camel (from the Wet N Wild Vanity palette) on my brow bone.
OTHER DETAILS… I used CoverGirl single e/s in Smolder to define my eyebrows. L’Oreal Collagen Mascara in Blackest Black on my eyelashes. I defined my upper lashline & waterline with Wet N Wild cream eyeliner in black.
CHEEKS: Black Radiance sheer finish blush in Soft Honey (8305B)
LIPS: Carmex + L’Oreal H.I.P. lip gloss in Inviting
FACE: Nada
