FOTD: Yes, I’ll have a bellini… make mine PEACH!

16 May

This weekend I took my mom to see Jumping the Broom. If you haven’t seen it yet, please do… you shouldn’t deprive yourself of an opportunity to witness the beauty that is Laz Alonso!

Don’t you just love Paula Patton?! Her gorgeous smile & raspy voice are the bees knees… oh and look @ Ms. Angie… she’s still got it goin’ on after all these years. In the movie, the Watson family served peach bellinis to their wedding guests… so I did a little research & discovered that a peach bellini consists of peach puree & Prosecco (sparking white wine). Sounds delish, doesn’t it?! So my face of the day is a nod to this celebratory beverage… peach eye shadow & glitter liner for sparkle… ENJOY 🙂

PRIMER:Coastal Scents Shadow Worx Matte e/s primer

BASE: NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk

SHADOW: On lower lid & tearducts I used matte peach from WetNWild Greed palette. Then I used matte eggplant purple to create depth in the crease & sparkly burgundy to deepen the outer v (both from WNW Lust palette)… & my beloved matte camel e/s (WNW Vanity) on my browbone.

OTHER DETAILS… I used CoverGirl single e/s in Smolder to define my eyebrows. L’Oreal Collagen Mascara in Blackest Black on my eyelashes. I lined my waterline with Milani lip pencil in Dark Chianti & used a pencil brush to apply eggplant purple e/s (WNW Lust) directly under my eye.

SPARKLE: I applied NYX candy glitter eyeliner in Disco Queen to my upper lashline. While the gel was still wet, I added cosmetic-grade glitter in Xanadu (holographic light blue) by Medusa’s Makeup.

LIPS: WetNWild Mega Last Lip color in Sand Storm (913C) + L’Oreal HIP gloss in Inviting

CHEEKS: Black Radiance sheer finish blush in Soft Honey (8305B)

FACE: Estee Lauder pressed powder in Deep (05)

Just in case you were wondering, my new WetNWild eyeshadow palettes (Greed & Lust) are the!!! I haven’t been able to put em down since I opened them. The junkism continues… SMH
